Denver, CO (November, 2021) Beehive Industries, American manufacturer for aerospace and defense, today announced the acquisition of Volunteer Aerospace (“Volunteer”), a Tennessee-based additive and advanced manufacturing provider. The purchase will support Beehive Industries’ vision of reindustrializing America by scaling the company’s core capabilities, employee base, and resources.

“Our vision is to reindustrialize America, and part of that means investing in the next generation of American manufacturing,” says Beehive Industries Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Ehteshami. “Volunteer Aerospace is at the forefront of key additive and advanced manufacturing methods and a testament to what a strong and self-sufficient future looks like for this country.”

Advanced manufacturing, the rapid transfer of science and technology into production activities, is an increasingly important discipline within the manufacturing world. Volunteer’s business model is based around providing full-service manufacturing and innovation development for aerospace, defense, and adjacent markets, using tools such as 3D-printing and adaptive strategy. The company’s customer base includes Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and NASA, among others.

Volunteer has made a name for itself delivering mission-critical parts for satellites, rockets, helicopters, and more, and will continue to do so as part of the Beehive Industries Advanced Manufacturing division.

Looking forward, Beehive Industries plans to invest in the Advanced Manufacturing division’s operational efficiency systems, product design process, and material innovation program to facilitate growth and drive scalability. Beehive expects to significantly grow the employee base of engineers, technicians, and other personnel within the division, to expand capabilities and maximize performance.

“Quality is an American-made value and the first and foremost principle of our business,” says Beehive Industries Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Ehteshami. “This acquisition will enable Beehive Industries to continue delivering unrivaled quality products to our customers, in a way that is faster, more efficient, and scalable than traditional methods.”
